Two bags full of puzzles about the city and cathedral

In Speyer, it's well known that two are better than one and so we have two City&Quest puzzle tours for you.

The first is the tried and tested city puzzle, which takes you on a route of around four kilometres to eleven City&Quest stations in the extended Speyer city centre.

There are tasks to be solved at the stations, where combining, co-operation and creativity are required and the focus is clearly on having fun. For the game, you will receive a City&Quest bag containing instructions and game material. Download the free Actionbound app and you're ready to set off to the City&Quest puzzle locations.

How it works:

City&Quest is played in teams. The ideal group size is up to six people. Larger groups can play in parallel in different directions. You can plan two and a half hours for City&Quest. Children under the age of 12 should be accompanied by an adult.

The City&Quest bags are available by prior arrangement from the Speyer Tourist Information Centre or at the Cathedral Information Office next to Speyer Cathedral for 49.00 euros.

Everything you need to know about City&Quest and how to book City&Quest bags can be found here in a detailed description.

Puzzle your way through the cathedral - City&Quest Kaiserdom

Since summer 2024, you can also discover Speyer Cathedral with City&Quest. The game is played in the cathedral (please show consideration for other visitors) and around the cathedral.

The cathedral rally starts at the cathedral information centre to the right of the cathedral. From there, the route, which is about one kilometre long, leads to twelve City&Quest stations - most of them inside the cathedral, including the crypt, but some can be found outside around the cathedral.

Outside, you can use the GPS function of the free Actionbound app to get from station to station. Inside, you can orientate yourself using a map on which the stations in the cathedral are marked.
