Restaurants and shops of all kinds
Parallel to the lively Maximilianstraße, Korngasse has developed into its very own shopping and leisure street. The narrow alley branches off from Maximilianstraße at the market square at the "Alte Münz". In its course over the Kornmarkt, a covered passageway, you will find small businesses as well as restaurants and quaint pubs in the shadow of St Ludwig's Church.
Before Korngasse meets Maximilianstraße again in front of the city gate Altpörtel, it crosses Wormser Straße, home to many of Speyer's long-established shops and service providers. Of course, pubs with outdoor seating are also part of the street scene here.
