The Imperial Cathedral and Jewish Heritage in Speyer
Along with Weimar, Berlin and Dessau, only three other cities in Germany can boast of offering their guests more than one UNESCO World Heritage Site. We in Speyer are well aware of this privilege, but also of the responsibility that comes with it.
Our task is to preserve and protect these sites. And we want to and must ensure that all visitors to our city and future generations are made aware of the historical significance of the cathedral and the ShUM site in the Judenhof.
