Directions and parking
To get to Speyer by coach, we recommend taking the A61 motorway. From the Speyer junction, take the B9 (towards Speyer) and then the B39 (towards the city centre) into the city.
You can also take the B39 directly from the German Wine Route or from the right bank of the Rhine. From Karlsruhe, the B9 is the most sensible route.
The best place to park your coach is at the fairground (Festplatz) south of the cathedral. From here, it is less than a 3-minute walk to the cathedral and you are already in the city centre.
Buses can park in a separate area at the Festplatz. The rates for buses are €5 per hour and €20 for the day. Parking tickets can be paid for at the ticket machines with the appropriate coins or an EC card. Mobile phone parking via app is also possible. The navigation address is Geibstraße 2, 68723 Speyer.
During the days around the spring and autumn fairs or the Brezelfest, the Festplatz is used as a festival site. For coaches, we recommend the nearby car park at the Technik Museum.
